Royal Aeronatical Society
The day began with a presentation from the RAS and the sponsor Lockheed Martin
Cadets were then split into teams plus a staff team for a competition on aerospace and design of a self powered plane. After some time designing and building we broke for lunch.
After a splendid buffet lunch a photograph was taken to mark the occasion with all countries involved in their separate groups.
More time was given to complete the builds and carry out some testing of the planes.
Some with more success than others.
After a splendid day we had dinner at Welington barracks which was followed by a whistle stop tour of some sights and a flight on the London Eye.
